Links: Gary Matthews Jr, Daniel Murphy and David Wright

Just wanted to give you guys a few links of some Mets stories I read over the weekend:

-At Metsblog Michael Baron writes about how Gary Matthews Jr was a good teammate in LA. This is good to hear because the last thing the Mets need right now is trouble in the clubhouse.

-Wendy Adair of the Bleacher Report wonders if 2010 is the year for Daniel Murphy To Shine or Fade. I’ve said in the past, if the Mets don’t bring back Carlos Delgado they better have a back-up plan that does not include Murphy playing every day. Murphy playing every day for a team that claims they want to win is unacceptable.

-Over at The Ropolitans, Andrew’s readers have spoken. They have voted David Wright as 2009 Met of the Year. If you recall, when the season ended I picked Luis Castillo as my choice for 2009 Mets MVP.
