Q & A: Why No Optimism For 2012?

sleepswageatrepeat: Looking on paper, the Mets really don’t have a bad roster. With an infield consisting of Davis, Wright, Murphy(assuming he stays at 2b), Tejada/Cedeno, Thole, Duda, Torres, and Bay. An average/sub-par starting rotation and a pretty stacked pen if Parnell steps his game up. So with a team like that why does everyone think the Mets are basement-dweller bound in 2012?
