Q & A: Thoughts On Second Base For 2012

Posted on by Kerel Cooper

I recently received a few questions about how the Mets should address second base in 2012:

How do you see the Mets future at second base in 2012 between Murphy/Turner/Tejada. Do you think Murphy can be an everyday player?

Can u do answer this question for me in a video then? Do you think turner should be the everyday second baseman next year?

Watch the video below to hear my thoughts on second base for 2012.

  1. Ramon says:

I would give it to Murphy just for his bat. I wish there were somewhere else to plug him in, but I think the Mets are a better team with Murphy playing, especially everyday. Turner would be a good person to either platoon him with or just as a utility man since he isnt phenomenal at one thing in particular, but is good all around. Now for Tejada, I think the best thing for him would be to send him down to AAA for the season. I know he's been doing very well, but for a player that young to just sit on the bench and not get too much playing time would just hurt his future.
