Mets Record: 41-41
Key Moment In The Game: The key moment of the game was the top of the 1st inning when the Yankees jumped out early to a 3-0 lead. Jon Niese had a rocky first inning, he settled in after that but unfortunately the three runs was all the Yankees needed tonight as they went on to a 5-1 win.
Game Ball: Ruben Tejada: 1-4 | 1 RBI
Additional Comments:
Jon Niese: 6 IP | 9 H | 3 ER | 7 SO
Mets Offense: 2-10 RISP
Terry Collins was ejected in the 7th inning for arguing a play where Reyes was called out at third base where the replay shows he was clearly save.
