Mets Record: 39-39
Key Moment In The Game: The key moment of the game was the bottom of the 1st inning with 2 on and 2 outs, Jose Reyes made a fantastic defensive play to get the Mets and Dillon Gee out of trouble. The Rangers had already taken a 2-1 lead at the time and if Reyes doesn’t make that play the Rangers would have scored more. Even though the Rangers hit the ball hard, Gee settled in after that inning.
Game Ball: Jose Reyes: 4-5 | 3 R | 1 SB and as I mentioned above, Reyes played great defensively.
Additional Comments:
Dillon Gee: 6 IP | 8 H | 3 ER. Gee is now 8-1 this season.
Mets Offense: 14 H | 5-15 RISP
Mets won the series by taking 2 out of 3.
Francisco Rodriguez struggled in the 9th: 1 IP | 2 H | 2 ER
