Mets Record: 34-36
Key Moment In The Game: The key moment was the bottom of the 9th inning. With the Mets down by one run and the tying and game winning runs on base after Jordan Walden walked the first two, he got ahead of Carlos Beltran in the count with a nasty slider. It seemed like after that pitch, the light went on in Walden’s head. He settled down and then proceeded to strike out the side (Beltran, Murphy and Pagan) to end the game.
Game Ball: Ronny Paulino: 2-4 | 1 RBI and a nice throw from his knees to catch a base runner trying to steal second base earlier in the game.
