  • Final Score: Mets 3 – Pirates 9
  • Box Score: Click here for the complete box score
  • Mets Record: 25-30
  • Key Moment In The Game: The key moment was the top of the 7th inning when the Pirates scored five runs to take a 5-2 lead at the time. The Mets ran into a little bad luck (Pirates had multiple infield hits) and some poor defensive decisions which the Pirates took advantage of.
  • Game Ball: No game ball. Just a lousy game by the entire team.
  • Additional Comments:
  • Chris Capuano: 6 IP | 8 H | 5 ER
  • Mets Offense: 10 H | 2-10 RISP | 7 LOB
  • Jason Bay continues to struggle: 0-4.  Bay batted .233 in May and hasn’t hit a home run since May 13th.
