  • Key Moment In The Game: The key moment was the bottom of the 7th inning when Josh Thole hit a two run scoring double to break a 3-3 tie. The Mets took a 5-3 lead at the time and they never looked back.
  • Game Ball: Angel Pagan: 3-5 | 1 RBI | 1 Run and a great catch in the 9th inning to rob a hit.
  • Additional Comments:
  • Dillon Gee: 7 IP | 5 H | 3 ER | 8 SO. Gee is now 5-0 this season.
  • Daniel Murphy: 3-5 | 1 RBI | 2 Runs
  • Mets Offense: 15 hits today. Very impressive considering there was no Reyes, Wright or Davis in the lineup.
  • Before the game it was announced that Jose Reyes found out this afternoon that his grandmother passed away. He is being placed on the Bereavement List (minimum 3 days – maximum 7 days).
