I think what really hit home for me was when Buster Olney said that the first player that this could have an impact on is Jose Reyes when/if he becomes a free-agent.

Thanks for the heads up. I saw this right at 9 a.m. Could've lived without so much Larry King, but it's interesting to see how the Mets are viewed by the national media (not well–and this was unbiased). If Alderson can take the Mets from this mess to a championship club, he'll get a few Hall of Fame votes. If Pat Gillick got in, anything's possible. It may be a long wait if the Wilpons hold onto the team.
