Mets Fans Want Wally Backman
November 19, 2010Reports are that the Mets plan to introduce their new manager at a news conference Tuesday. With that said just about all the fans I’ve spoken to want Wally Backman to be the next manager. If you don’t believe me, check the comments on the On The Black Facebook Fan Page or the Metsblog poll results.
I personally don’t have a favorite candidate. I’ve said all along I’m much more concerned about who’s playing 2b, RF, bullpen and starting pitchers. I am however very interested to see which direction the team goes in and if Backman isn’t the choice, how the Mets fans react to that.
