What about trading Beltran he's on the walk year of his contract and he is still an star player they probably get more for him.

I think the Mets have a better chance of trading Beltran at the trade deadline this year if he can prove he's healthy and is playing well.

Thanks Kerel, good stuff man, I've been saying the same thing for a while now. Sacrifices have to be made to turn this around, and what Pegan does, you should be able to find in a Second Baseman, you get that and add a right fielder from the minors (a ton of young, good outfielders in this system) and trade him for Pitching as well, I like your take, thank you, and by the way what about F-Mart while they're at it, I don't see that IT quality with him either.
