In the video below I give my thoughts on Dillon Gee’s chances of making the New York Mets 2011 rotation.

Dillon Gee came into the Mets organization from an area of Texas that produces a ton of talent, but played at a school that was highly unscouted at the time as a 21st rounder with a ton to proove. He has steadily passed every test most writers/bloggers said would be his undoing at each new level and seems to even improve with each new level as the competition gets better. I am looking forward to many years of Dillon Gee as a mainstay in the NYM's rotation.

I hope he does produce. If anything team needs a steady guy in the rotation it's the Mets. I just don't want to get too excited about a few starts at the end of a bad season. Let him compete and earn a spot in spring training.
