      Grasping for additional positive notes: The Mets surpassed last seasons dismal win total. Currently tied the 2004 season dismal win total. And will likely surpass the equally dismal 2002 season win total (75) by October 3rd. Making 2010 only the 5th most pathetic Mets season of the last decade
