Quick Game Notes:
Final Score: Mets 4 – Nationals 1
Box Score: Click here for the complete box score.
Mets Record: 67-71
Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the top of the 1st inning when Ike Davis hit a 3-run home run. That was all the run support Dillon Gee needed.
Game Ball: Dillon Gee: 7 IP | 2 H | 1 ER | 4 SO. Gee also collected his first career hit and RBI going 1-3 at the plate.
Additional Comments:
Ike Davis had a good game at the plate: 2-3 | 3 RBI | 1 HR.
Mets are now 29-46 on the road this season.
Up Next: The New York Mets play the rubber match in Washington against the Nationals: Wednesday September 8, 2010 at 1:00 pm.
