Mets Record: 63-64
Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the top of the 6th inning when the Marlins offense exploded for 7 runs to take control of the game. They went up 9-4 at the time and that was more than enough runs to win the game. The Marlins added on 2 more runs later in the game to win 11-4.
Game Ball: David Wright: 2-3 | 2 Runs | 2 RBI | 2 BB | 1 HR.
Additional Comments:
Jon Niese: 5.2 IP | 5 H | 7 ER | 8 SO.
Mets are now 37-24 at home this season.
Jose Reyes left the game early with an injury to his oblique.
