Quick Game Notes:

  • Final Score: Mets 1 – Phillies 3
  • Box Score: Click here for the complete box score.
  • Mets Record: 58-59
  • Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the top of the 6th inning when the Phillies scored on a Carlos Ruiz RBI single. The Phillies went up 3-1 at the time and that’s how it ended. Once again the Mets offense was no where to be found.
  • Game Ball: Jose Reyes: 2-4 | 1 HR | 1 RBI.
  • Additional Comments:
  • Mike Pelfrey: 7 IP | 7 H | 3 ER.
  • Mets Offense: out of the six games on this home stand, the Mets only scored more than two runs one time.
  • Mets finish the home stand 3-3.
  • Mets are now 36-22 at home this season.
  • Up Next: The New York Mets travel to Houston to open a four game series with the Astros: Monday August 16, 2010 at 8:05 pm.
