Quick Game Notes:

  • Final Score: Mets 0 – Phillies 4
  • Box Score: Click here for the complete box score.
  • Mets Record: 58-58
  • Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the bottom of the 4th inning when Jose Reyes lead off the inning with a triple but the Mets failed to score him. In my opinion this set the tone for the entire game as Roy Halladay put the Mets bats to sleep.
  • Game Ball: Pat Misch: 6 IP | 8 H | 1 ER | 2 SO. Misch pitched well and deserved better from the Mets defense and offense.
  • Additional Comments:
  • Mets Offense: 6 H | 10 SO | 0-6 RISP.
  • Mets Defense: 3 errors which lead to 3 unearned runs.
  • Francisco Rodriguez made his return to the Mets after a 2 game suspension. You can watch the fans reaction to his return here.
  • Mets are now 36-21 at home this season.
  • Up Next: The New York Mets play the third game of the series against the Philadelphia Phillies: Sunday August 15, 2010 at 8:05 pm.
