Quick Game Notes:

  • Final Score: Mets 5 – Phillies 6
  • Box Score: Click here for the complete box score.
  • Mets Record: 55-56
  • Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the bottom of the 3rd inning when the Phillies scored 5 runs, aided by a Jose Reyes error. The Phillies took a 6-2 lead at the time and held off a Mets late rally to win 6-5.
  • Game Ball: Angel Pagan: 2-4 | 2 RBI
  • Additional Comments:
  • R.A. Dickey: 3 IP | 8 H | 4 ER | 0 SO | 2 HR.
  • Mets Offense: Beltran/Wright combined: 0-8 | 6 SO. Entire team 4-14 RISP.
  • Carlos Beltran continues to struggle at the plate since coming back this season. He’s batting .195 | 7 RBI | 1 HR.
  • Mets are now 22-37 on the road this season.
