Quick Game Notes:

  • Final Score: Mets 1 – Diamondbacks 14

  • Mets Record: 53-52
  • Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the top of the 5th inning when the Diamondbacks scored 5 runs. They went up 8-1 at the time and that was more then enough to beat the Mets today.
  • Game Ball: No one on the Mets deserves a game ball today. On a day when the Mets organization welcomed in Dwight Gooden, Darryl Strawberry, Frank Cashen and Davey Johnson into the Mets Hall of Fame, the players on the field were an embarrassment.
