Mets Record: 52-51
Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the top of the 6th inning when the Diamondbacks scored 5 runs. Aided by a Jose Reyes error and Raul Valdes poor pitching performance the Diamondback had a huge inning. They went up 9-3 at the time and that was enough.
Game Ball: David Wright: 3-4 | 5 RBI | 2 HR
Additional Comments:
Mike Pelfrey: 5.2 IP | 8 H | 4 ER | 4 SO | 2 BB
Mets are now 32-18 at home this season.
Before the game the Mets placed outfielder Jason Bay on the 15-Day Disabled List, retroactive to July 26. To take Bay’s spot, the Mets recalled outfielder Jesus Feliciano.
