  • Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the top of the 5th inning when the Mets had bases load and did not score. With two outs in the inning, Takahashi came up to the plate. At the time I said I would have pinched hit for him. I understand that he was pitching well and the Mets bullpen was tired from the previous night BUT the Mets offense has been bad for some time now and you never know how many more of these scoring opportunities the Mets were going to get. I would have taken a shot to try to break the game open. It turned out that Takahashi grounded out and the Mets offense went quietly into the night.
