  • Milestones: Congrats to Scott Rolen for hitting his 300 career home run and Jim Thome for moving into 10th place on the all time home run list.
  • Last week, Florida Marlins Manager, Edwin Rodriguez became the first MLB manager born in Puerto Rico. And of course his first win came against my Mets.
  • Yesterday MLB announced it’s 2010 All-Star selections. Check out the rosters here.
  • Biz of Baseball reports that the Yankees revenue has hit $600 million.
  • Streaks and Standings:

  • Wins: San Diego Padres have won 3 in a row and sit on top of the NL West.
  • Loss: Houston Astros have lost 3 in a row and are near the bottom of the NL Central.

    I’m looking forward to the Boston Redsox vs Tampa Bay Rays (July 5-7, 2010). These are two of the top teams in the AL East and in Baseball. It should be a fun series.
