Top Stories:

Milestones: Congrats to Scott Rolen for hitting his 300 career home run and Jim Thome for moving into 10th place on the all time home run list.

Last week, Florida Marlins Manager, Edwin Rodriguez became the first MLB manager born in Puerto Rico. And of course his first win came against my Mets.

Yesterday MLB announced it’s 2010 All-Star selections. Check out the rosters here.

Biz of Baseball reports that the Yankees revenue has hit $600 million.

Streaks and Standings:

Wins: San Diego Padres have won 3 in a row and sit on top of the NL West.

Loss: Houston Astros have lost 3 in a row and are near the bottom of the NL Central.

Series of The Week:

I’m looking forward to the Boston Redsox vs Tampa Bay Rays (July 5-7, 2010). These are two of the top teams in the AL East and in Baseball. It should be a fun series.
