Quick Game Notes:

  • Mets Record: 40-30
  • Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the bottom of the 3rd inning when the Mets scored 8 runs to go up 10-0 at the time. The Tigers did fight back but the 8 runs in this inning proved to be the difference.
  • Game Ball: Angel Pagan: 4-6 | 4 RBI | 3 Runs. On a night when all the pre-game talk was about the possible return of Carlos Beltran, Pagan let his bat do the talking. Pagan was a home run shy of hitting for the cycle tonight.
