    I disagree with your 1st point but agree with the last 2. It's easier to get an 8th inning reliever than a solid starter. I think that is the greater need and since Takahashi was a starter for all those years in Japan why not keep him there. I do agree that Dickey can't keep this up but don't trade the farm for a front line starter because even with a front line starter I'm not confident we can win it all yet. Let's build with the youth (Davis, Mejia, and Tejada) to go along with Reyes, Wright and Pelfrey.

      Thanks for the comments Jon. Question for you – if the Mets can trade for Cliff Lee and are given a window to sign him for say 3 years. Would you put Mejia in a deal for him?
