Mets Record: 32-28
Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the bottom of the 3rd inning when the Mets scored 2 runs (Wright – ground out, Davis – single). At that point the Mets went up 3-0 and that was all Jonathan Niese needed tonight.
Game Ball: Jonathan Niese: 9 IP | 1 H | 6 SO. Niese retired 21 batters in a row for his first career complete game.
Additional Comments:
Jesus Feliciano was 0-4 in his first ever MLB game starting in CF.
Mets are 24-10 at home this season.
Jose Reyes: 3-4 | 1 Run | 1 SB
Mets Offense: 3-9 RISP
Mets finished this home stand with a record of 5-1.
Up Next: The Mets travel to Baltimore to open a three game series with the Orioles: Friday June 11, 2010 at 7:05 pm.
Mets were 5-1 for this home stand, not 4-1
