Mets Game Recap: Mets 7 Marlins 6

June 6th, 2010 by Kerel Cooper

Quick Game Notes:

  • Final Score: Mets 7 – Marlins 6
  • Box Score: Click here for the complete box score.
  • Mets Record: 30-27
  • Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the bottom of the 7th inning when Jeff Francoeur hit a 3-run home run to tie the game 6-6 at the time. The Mets battled back from being down 5-0 earlier in the game to come all the way back and get the win today.
  • Game Ball: Jeff Francoeur: 2-4 | 3 RBI | 1 HR | 1 Double
  • Additional Comments:
  • Mets Offense: 12 Hits | 2 Doubles | 1 HR | 4-11 RISP
  • David Wright & Rod Barajas combined: 5-9 | 3 Runs
  • Mets improved to 22-9 at home this season.
  • Hisanori Takahash’s Line: 5.1 IP | 6 H | 5 ER | 5 SO | 2 HR
  • Mets Bullpen: 3.2 IP | 4 H | 1 ER
