Quick Game Notes:

  • Final Score: Mets 6 – Brewers 8
  • Box Score: Click here for the complete box score.
  • Mets Record: 25-25
  • Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the top of the 4th inning, with two outs when Todd Coffey entered the game. The Mets had scored in every inning, off every Brewers pitcher up until that point. Coffey pitched: 2.1 IP | 0 ER | 3 SO. He put the Mets bats to sleep and they never scored again.
  • Game Ball: Ike Davis: 1-5 | 1 HR | 3 RBI
  • Additional Comments:
  • Mets have lost 2 in a row after winning 5 in a row and are back to .500 (25-25).
  • Each team scored a run in every 1/2 inning for the first 4 innings. Then neither teams scored for the remainder of the game.
  • Jose Reyes extends his hitting streak to 7 games.
  • Mets were 5-16 with RISP.
  • Mets are now 6-16 on the road.
  • Fernando Nieve’s Line: 2 IP | 3 H | 5 ER | 5 SO | 3 BB
  • Up Next: The Mets play the third game of this series in Milwaukee against the Brewers: Sunday May 30, 2010 at 2:10pm.
