Tweet: Punch The Phillies In The Mouth

Before yesterday’s game I tweeted the following message below and the Mets did exactly what I was hoping they would do. After playing 6 innings they were up 5-0. What was good to see is they didn’t take their foot off the pedal. In their last two at bats the Mets had 4 hits and scored 3 more times, including a Raul Valdes double and Jose Reyes triple on their way to an 8-0 win. In my opinion, the Mets must make a statement in this series and push the Phillies around a little. Let’s see how they do over the next two games.
