Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the top of the 7th when the Yankees scored their two runs which was aided by an Alex Cora throwing error.

Game Ball: Hisanori Takahashi: 6 IP | 5 H | 0 ER | 1 BB | 5 SO

Additional Comments:

Mets Offense: only 4 hits tonight and 9 strike outs.

Jose Reyes continues to struggle: 0-4

Two more strike outs for David Wright. He also grounded out with the tying run on second base after Jason Bay and Ike Davis got two out hits.

Before the game John Maine was placed on the DL with shoulder weakness.
