Quick Game Notes:

  • Final Score: Mets 5 – Phillies 11
  • Box Score: Click here for the complete box score.
  • Mets Record: 14-11
  • Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the bottom of the 4th inning when the Phillies scored nine runs. Johan Santana had a rare implosion as the Phillies batted around. Santana walked the pitcher Jamie Moyer with the base load. Then proceeded to give up a grand slam home run and then another two-run home run.
  • Game Ball: David Wright: 1-4 | 1 HR | 3 RBIs
  • Additional Comments:
  • After winning 8 in a row, the Mets have lost the last two and fall out of first place.
  • Johan Santana’s line: 3.2 IP | 8 H | 10 ER | 4 HR
  • Up Next: The Mets open a three game series in Cincinnati against the Reds: Monday May 3, 2010 at 7:10pm.
