Quick Game Notes:

  • Final Score: Mets 0 – Phillies 10
  • Box Score: Click here for the complete box score.
  • Mets Record: 14-10
  • Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the bottom of the 4th inning when the Phillies scored six runs. Mike Pelfrey seemed to be cruising along but hit a wall in the 4th. Two dropped balls by Jose Reyes and Alex Cora didn’t help
  • Game Ball: Jason Bay: It’s tough to give a game ball when your team loses by 10 runs. Mets only had three hits but Bay was on base two times today.
  • Additional Comments:
  • Mets 8 game winning streak was snapped.
  • Roy Halladay cooled off the Mets offense. Giving up only three hits.
