Quick Game Notes:

  • Final Score: Mets 7 – Dodgers 3
  • Box Score: Click here for the complete box score.
  • Mets Record: 13-9
  • Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the bottom of the 7th inning when the Mets scored two runs on a Jason Bay double and Ike Davis single. At the time the Mets went up 7-3 and never looked back. This was key because it gave the Mets some additional breathing room.
  • Game Ball: John Maine: 6 IP | 4 H | 2 ER | 9 SO. By far Maine’s best performance of the season.
  • Additional Comments:
  • The Mets swept the Dodgers in this three game series.
  • Mets have won 7 games in a row and 9-1 during the homestand.
  • David Wright took the Mets all-time lead in doubles with his 226 career double today.
  • Up Next: The Mets travel to Philadelphia for a weekend series with the Phillies: Friday April 30, 2010 at 7:05pm.
