Quick Game Notes:

  • Final Score: Mets 4 – Dodgers 0
  • Box Score: Click here for the complete box score.
  • Mets Record: 11-9
  • Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was the bottom of the 7th inning when Luis Castillo hit a two-run single which put the Mets up 4-0 at the time. At that point the game was pretty much out of reach
  • Game Ball: Jason Bay: 1-3 | 1 HR | 1 RBI | 1 BB
  • Additional Comments:
  • Johan Santana threw 115 pitches in 6 IP. Once again the starting pitcher fails to go deep into the game and the Mets have to use their bullpen for a large amount of innings.
  • Mets have won 5 games in a row.
  • Jeff Francoeur walked for the 9th time this season. He had 23 walks all of last year.
  • Up Next: The Mets play the second game of the double-header against the LA Dodgers: Tuesday April 27, 2010 starting shortly.
