Quick Game Notes:

  • Final Score: Mets 3 – Braves 1
  • Box Score: Click here for the complete box score.
  • Mets Record: 9-9
  • Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was in the bottom of the 7th when the Mets scored two runs to go up 3-1 at the time. Jeff Francoeur had a run scoring double and Henry Blanco chipped in with a sacrifice fly.
  • Game Ball: Jason Bay: 3-4 | 1 RBI.
  • Additional Comments:
  • The Mets are on a nice little streak, winning 5 out of 6 games. Which has helped them get back to .500
  • Mets closer Francisco Rodriguez (K-Rod) got his third save of the season.
  • David Wright continues to hear boos when he makes outs. How do you feel about fans booing their own players?
  • Up Next: The Mets go for the sweep against the Atlanta Braves: Sunday April 25, 2010 at 8:05 pm.
