Quick Game Notes:

  • Final Score: Mets 2 – Cardinals 1
  • Box Score: Click here for the complete box score.
  • Mets Record: 4-7
  • Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was in the bottom of the 20th inning when Mike Pelfrey came into the game on two days rest to get the save. The Mets used 24 of 25 players tonight. The only player who didn’t get into the game was Oliver Perez. Also, after Friday’s game I killed the bullpen for blowing it. I must give them credit today for doing an outstanding job.
