Quick Game Notes:

  • Final Score: Mets 3 – Cardinals 4
  • Box Score: Click here for the complete box score.
  • Mets Record: 3-7
  • Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was in the bottom of the 7th inning when Felipe Lopez hit a grand slam home run off Raul Valdes. I’m sure Jerry Manuel will be second guessed for taking Oliver Perez out of the game. I myself would have left Perez in the game but I can’t kill Manuel for this. The bullpen has to come in, throw strikes and get outs. They didn’t do either tonight.
  • Game Ball: Oliver Perez: 6.1 IP | 4 H | 4 SO | 1 ER.
  • Up Next: The Mets play the second game of this series against Cardinals: Saturday April 17, 2010 at 4:10 pm.
