Quick Game Notes:

  • Final Score: Mets 5 – Rockies 0
  • Box Score: Click here for the complete box score.
  • Mets Record: 3-6
  • Key Moment In The Game: In my opinion the key moment was in the 4th inning when the Mets scored two runs and went up 4-0 at that time. At that point the game was pretty much over as the Rockies were only able to muster up five hits against Mike Pelfrey.
  • Game Ball: Mike Pelfrey: 7 IP | 5 H | 6 SO | 0 ER.
  • Up Next: The Mets will try to build on this win as they open up a series in St. Louis against the Cardinals: Friday April 16, 2010 at 8:15 pm.

I don't know about you, but I am a bit concerned about the number of infield single the Mets have given up thus far.
