Now I know I shouldn’t trust the team’s medical staff but Beltran under the same circumstances laid out- not in contract year- came back to finish last season. The idea his feelings are hurt or that there is some vast conspiracy speaks a lot to what this ownership’s PR has caused many Mets fans to feel about the organization and its players.
