    Great analysis and I agree with you for the same reasons you cited. Additionally, even if he does comes back from TJ surgery and pitches in spring training. It usually takes a year to get all the way back to 100% of your pre surgery effectiveness. He'll be paid by the Mets, get healthier, become a free agent in 2011, and start game one of the World Series for the Yankees at the end of that season. Dont do it Omar!

      Thanks for the comments Joe. Good point about the recovery time/100%. I didn't think of that. After 2009, the Mets should make it a point to stay clear of anyone coming off of an injury. Especially someone who we would potentially depend on heavily.
