I guess I can't really see him as an 8th inning guy (at least not yet). There is also the question of whether or not he would want to go to the bullpen. I like Maine as a starter too but he really hasn't proven he can stay healthy except for 2007.. and dont forget, in 2007 this was his 1st half/2nd half splits: 1st half - 10-4, 2.71 ERA, 1.14 WHIP .. 2nd half - 5-6, 5.53 ERA, 1.45 WHIP .. quite a difference and just proves he really doesn't last a full season even if he remains healthy. 8th inning in the bullpen, he would be fine.
