Mets History: Info. On The 1969 Mets
August 21, 2009I am too young to remember the 1969 Mets. I wasn’t even born until 1976 so I’m not going to sit here and pretend as though I can speak intelligently about this team (hence no video post on this topic). What I do know (from the stories I’ve heard and research I’ve done) is that this was an AMAZIN team and for one summer captured the hearts of New Yorkers all over the city.
With the Mets set to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1969 Champion New York Mets, below is a collection of links that will give you some insight into this team.
