I agree about Halladay but I think we will have to wait and see on Frenchy. I was not a big fan of that trade.
I think the Mets should go after Halladay. Considering they are going through a rough patch, they need to make a big splash. Halladay would give them a great 1-2 punch, and I think, though they are high on Fernando Martinez and other young players, they have to make a decision on whether now is more important than future.
I think Francoeur was a great pickup, even though he's been scuffling. Church has been more dependable this season, but Frenchy is five years younger, and has more upside, even though he'll swing at everything under the sun.
