Thanks for the comments Dave. Question – if not Manny then who? I don’t think we can win with Tatis/Murphy playing 162 games.
No Manny for me… for all of the reasons that you named. The Mets would have to do a two year deal in the neighborhood of $50 million to get him. If he decides that he doesn’t want to play, like he did in Boston, the contract is too big for the Mets to eat it. They just can’t take the chance that he’ll embarrass himself like he did last season in Boston.
